CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Red Carpet Logistics
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Red Carpet Logistics provides courier, collection and delivery services. As our services are not physical products, there are no product returns. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.
1. Cancelling a Booking
If you need to cancel a courier booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
You can request a cancellation by contacting:
Email: Book@redcarpetlogistics.co.uk
Please include your name, booking reference and details of the booking you wish to cancel.
2. Consumer Cancellation Rights
Where you are a consumer entering into a service contract online, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract.
However, if you ask us to begin providing the courier service during this cancellation period, specific rules may apply to the cancellation and the amount payable for services already provided.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any statutory rights that you have under UK law.
3. Cancellation Before the Service Begins
If you cancel before we have started providing the courier service, you may be entitled to a refund of payments made, subject to any applicable legal rights and any reasonable costs that we are legally entitled to recover.
4. Cancellation After the Service Has Started
If you ask us to begin the service before the applicable cancellation period has ended and subsequently cancel, we may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for the service already provided before we received your cancellation request, where permitted by law.
For example, this may include work already undertaken, travel already completed or other courier services already provided.
We will not apply excessive or unreasonable cancellation charges. Consumer cancellation charges must be fair and should reflect genuine costs or losses rather than operate as a penalty.
5. Cancellation Close to Collection
Where a booking is cancelled shortly before the agreed collection time, we may have already incurred costs or committed resources to the booking.
Any charge applied will be reasonable and will take account of the circumstances of the cancellation and costs reasonably incurred.
6. Failed Collection
If our courier arrives at the agreed collection location but the goods are not ready, the customer is unavailable, access is unavailable or the customer cannot be contacted, the booking may be treated as a failed collection.
Reasonable waiting, travel or rebooking charges may apply where applicable and where these charges have been communicated or agreed.
7. Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will process it in accordance with applicable law.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
8. Services Already Provided
If a customer has requested that a courier service begins before the end of an applicable cancellation period, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation, where permitted by law.
9. Our Cancellation of a Booking
We may need to cancel a booking where circumstances make the service unsafe, unlawful or impractical, or where the goods are prohibited or unsuitable for transportation.
Where we cancel a booking after receiving payment and you are entitled to a refund, we will provide the applicable refund in accordance with UK law.
10. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects or limits any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law.
Our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable law.
If any part of this policy conflicts with a statutory consumer right, that statutory right will take precedence.
